In her own campaign materials and advertisements, Mary Ellen Summerlin, candidate for Kerrville City Council Place One, has listed her prior political experiences, candidates she has supported and endorsements she has received as justification for why she believes she is qualified to represent the citizens of Kerrville.
In order to help the voter better understand Mrs Summerlin, this website aims to highlight her position on numerous issues facing Kerrville by investigating her political record and publicly available information on the issues she has advocated for in the past or currently.
Mrs Summerlin served on Kerrville City Council between October 2016 and May 2018 and therefore has a voting record to be reviewed. She has worked for and contributed financially to a number of local, state and federal campaigns which provide insight into the issues she will advocate for and the methods she might use to address the potential issues facing Kerrville.
